Two things:
I lay on my couch eating, drinking, napping and watching television for a good ten hours today. I don’t have much else to show for it.
The other thing is there is a tradition in Australia which is the Boxing Day Test. “Test” as in Test Cricket, which is different from One Day Cricket, which obviously only goes for one day. A Test Cricket match can go for five days.
Anyway, Boxing Day Test Cricket is what’s going on here. We are playing South Africa and the guy with the bat is Andrew Symonds, who has almost made a HUGE mistake by trying to take a run when he thought he could. His partner at the other end wasn’t running. That’s him trying to get back over the line. It was close… as you can see buy the guy with his arms up appealing to the umpire… He made it.
